Our society will be changing our current logo. If you have an idea of how our new society's logo should look like, why not design it and enter our logo competition? The best design wins RM500 (approx. US$130)!

Rules and regulations

1. The new logo design ought to reflect the current status and trends in soil science research and studies in Malaysia. Use of colours other than black and white is strongly recommended for the new logo.

2. The competition is open to everyone, including non-members of MSSS and contestants from outside Malaysia. The competition is not limited to any age or occupation groups.

3. Contestants may submit more than one entry per person, but all logo designs must be original. The copyrights of all submitted logo design entries will be transfered to the MSSS.

4. There is only one prize for this competition which is for the best logo design. Winning prize is RM500 or about US$130. The winning logo will also be seriously considered as our society's new official logo. All decisions from judges are final.

5. Closing date for competition is Jan 15, 2002.

Submission of logo design entries

Please mail the hardcopy of your logo design entries to:
